I love reading the bio on Etsy’s featured sellers and try to glean insight and inspiration.
Here’s this week’s inspiration from Empire Empire:
‘There are two sides to the art making process. The first is creation, and the second is reception. If it’s art, then the process of making and receiving the art will separately provoke distinct moments of openness and both creator and receiver will learn something.
This is extremely rare, and I don’t live up to my own standards most of the time, but if it was easy, it wouldn’t be worth it.’

Copper Nickel announces the release of their eighth semi-annual literay and art journal. This edition will feature photographs from post-Katrina New Orleans and essays and poems by New Orleans writers. —looks to be very interesting.
The release party for Copper Nickel 8 will be Friday, September 28th at Matter Studio in Denver. The party will inculde refreshment, readings, and ‘other recreation.’ —hmmm…

we now have a bicycle jacket. again. we’ve had the jackets in our possession for a while… and the bicycle print has been hanging around… we finally were able to get the two to hook up. Enjoy!
